My name is Joe and I do not work in a button factory, and no, I don’t know where I’m going with that gun in my hand. Born into a small family from a small town in Washington State: Spokane, I went to university in Seattle where I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Communications, Film Studies Emphasis. I left Northwest University in Kirkland for the crazy, yet extremely fun city of Los Angeles where I began my career entering data in accounting for Anonymous Content. (www.anonymouscontent.com) From there I entered into a brief period of freelance production working as an assistant before quickly landing on a few short term desks for various directors and producers. I finally settled down at a ‘new to Los Angeles’ office of Rattling Stick. (www.rattlingstick.com) There my true work experience began as I managed the day to day office operations. I coordinated production from commercial pitches to placing film crews on hold for awarded projects. Three and a half years later the urge to live abroad pulled me off my comfortable desk and lead me to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Starting off as a volunteer for Chab Dai (www.chabdai.org) I accepted a job offer to live and work in Phnom Penh and work in communications for the company. I am currently working for Chab Dai while producing and working on creative projects on the side.
In my spare time I play around with photography and I love exploring. I’m a foodie and I love venturing around to try new restaurants. I always have a great restaurant to recommend in any city I’ve lived in. Don’t hesitate to ask. Below are links to all my social media accounts. Please visit any or all of them to learn even more about what makes me, me.
